Settings
Direct Call
Connect to the 2N IP Intercom intercom web configurator.
Enable one of the quick dial button position. When it is enabled, specify position name and phone number of the Linphone client.
- set the user in Directory / Users to dial direct IP call according to Linphone settings. Linphone has an ip address 10.27.1.51, set the Phone Number to sip:10.27.1.51 – see the picture below.
For direct call go to Dialer through Dial pad icon and in tho the upper grey line write down the sip:x@ip_address, where ip_address is IP address of your intercom. On the picture IP address is 10.27.24.10. and x some random number for example 1.
To switch on Video during the Call, swipe your finger on the screen from right to left. Settings with SIP proxy
To set your 2N IP Intercom device to communicate with SIP over your SIP Proxy (or PBX), you need to fill in credentials like Phone number, password and IP address of your SIP Proxy like in following picture. In this case IP address of SIP proxy is 10.27.1.66 and Phone Number is 8002.
To recieve calls from Counter-Path Bria application it is important to change Call anwering mode to Automatic in Services / Phone / Call settings. In next step it is needed to create users with Linphone which will be called from 2N IP Intercom, in Directory / Users. For Video to function correctly it is also needed to have 'Polycom compatibility' enabled To set up account in Counter-Path Bria for your SIP proxy go to Settings (cogwheel button) / Accounts
In next screen choose SIP 'Making calls' and fill in your account details: To switch on Video during the Call, swipe your finger on the screen from right to left.
Secure RTP (SRTP)
Go to SIP settings in Services and in Advanced settings enable recieving and transmitting of SRTP calls.
To enable SRTP encryption in Counter-path Bria go to your Account for SRTP / Account Advanced / and Change Encrypt Audio from never to Always.

Bria softphone - How to configure it with 2N IP Intercom (using SIP Proxy)
If you would like to make video calls from your 2N IP Intercom to your smartphone, you will need application which supports video transmission. One of those applications is Bria which is available for iOS and also for Android mobile phones.
Note: For proper video transmission must your SIP Proxy support the codec H.264! (if more video codecs are supported, then allow H.264 as the only video codec in case of troubleshooting)
2N IP Intercom settings
Connect to the 2N IP Intercom web configurator and enable one of the quick dial button position. When it is enabled, then specify position name and phone number of the Bria client.
In the next step register your 2N IP Intercom to SIP proxy (IP PBX). As a last setting in 2N IP Intercom, go to Advanced Settings -> Video Codecs and set the video resolution and bitrate according to picture below. If you set better parameters, it can happen that the video will be jamming (this depend on quality of your network). BRIA setting
Download Bria application from App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and install it. Please do not forget to buy also Video license for Bria application if you want to make video calls. Then run the application and fill in information which is necessary for correct registration.
Then move to Account Advanced setting and check if the SIP Network Traversal is activated for Wi-Fi and also for Mobile if you call via mobile data connection. After this go to Account Specific Features and activate video parameters according to the picture below. As a last step click the Register button and register application to SIP Proxy.Now if you call from/to Bria application from/to 2N IP Intercom, you will be able to see a video. CUCM 7.1.3

For video, set RTP Payload type (1) to 99, RTP Payload type (2) to 0 in the Advanced Settings / Video Codecs menu.

Bria 3 is a business-class mobile and computer application provided by CounterPath. It includes the ability to transfer and conference calls. To set up the CounterPath Bria 3 program, follow the steps below:
Once your Bria 3 has been installed, run the application. You will be required to input a license key before the application will run. After you have installed and licensed the software, you can finish the setup process inside the Bria application.
- Visit nextiva.com, and click Client Login to log in to NextOS.
- From the NextOS Home Page, select Voice.
- From the Nextiva Voice Admin Dashboard, hover your cursor over Users and select Manage Users.
Add Devices
- Click the drop-down arrow under Select Model and select Generic SIP Phone.
- Select Assign to assign the device to a User.
- Click the drop-down arrow under Choose one user for assignment to this device to select a User to assign the device to. Click the Change Password check box, then click the Generate buttons to generate new authentication details.

- Click Finish to apply changes.
- Ensure that the computer with the CounterPath Bria 3 installation has a physical hard-wire Internet connection. Wireless applications can lead to poor audio quality, depending on the strength of the signal.
- Once your Bria 3 has been installed, run the application. You will be required to input a license key before the application will run. Then, follow these steps:
- Select Preferences from the menu
- Under the Accounts Tab press “New SIP Account”

- Fill out the required information under the tab “Account”:
- Account name: Use a name that will help you identify this account name in the future.
- Under User Details:
- User ID: Input the SIP Username from the employee that will be using this device
- Domain: Input prod.voipdnsservers.com:5062
- Password: Input the Authentication Password from the employee that will be using this device
- Display name: This can be anything. This name will display when calling between Nextiva devices
- Authorization name: Input the Authentication Name for the employee that will be using this device
- Leave the Domain Proxy at default
- Click the tab labeled Topology towards the top of the window
- For Firewall traversal method, choose the None (use local IP address) radio button
- Click OK to save all
- Next, select Softphone at the top and then Preferences. Once the window opens, select the option labeled Audio Codecs on the left-hand side.
- Remove all current audio codecs with the exception of G711uLaw.
- Our last step will be to select the option on the left-hand menu labeled Calls and uncheck or disable the RTP inactivity timers.
- Push OK to save the changes. Bria 3 should now work properly with Nextiva’s Network. It is always a best practice to make a test call to ensure the softphone was set up properly.
